The Feast of Passover and the week-long celebration that follows is a joyous time for the Jewish people, but for those who are poor, it is another reminder of what they lack. Your gift will help us show true Christian love in action to a poor Holocaust survivor as we work with our ministry partner in Haifa to touch the lives of an extra 700 people during this special week.

Garden of Gethsemane Prayer Shawl

The Garden of Gethsemane was a favorite prayer spot for Jesus, and this beautiful prayer shawl is a link to the ancient Jewish roots of our faith. When you pray for Jerusalem, you cover yourself with the shawl to help direct your thoughts and prayers to God's Chosen People. Crafted similar to a tallit with knotted fringes and scripture references sewn into the fabric. (70" x 21")

The Jerusalem Prayer Team with Dr. Michael D. Evans exists to build Friends of Zion to guard defend and protect the Jewish people and to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We pray for peace in Jerusalem because the Scriptures tell us to in Psalm 122:6. The Jerusalem Prayer Team was inspired from the 100-year long prayer meeting for the restoration of Israel held in the ten Boom family home in Haarlem, Holland. We are committed to encouraging others to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and God's Chosen People.
