FAQ

What is the goal?

The Jerusalem Prayer Team’s mission is to build Friends of Zion to guard defend and protect the Jewish people and to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Our goal is to enlist millions of people around the world to pray daily and have thousands of houses of worship praying weekly for the peace of Jerusalem.

Who can be involved?

The Jerusalem Prayer Team seeks the involvement of all concerned Christians, regardless of denomination who are committed to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. It holds no affiliation with any political or religious organizations

Why pray for the peace in Jerusalem?

We pray for peace in Jerusalem because the Scriptures tell us to in Psalm 122:6. Also, the Great Commission proclaims that we would be a witness unto Him in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria.

If I donate to this ministry, how will my funds be used?

Your gift to this ministry will allow us to continue to reach out across the world, seeking the faithful who will commit to be part of Jerusalem Prayer Team. We accomplish this goal through this web site, through mailings and newsletters, through Prayer Summits, and through visitations to Israel. The Jerusalem Prayer Team is also involved in many outreaches directly to the Jewish people. For example, your gift could be used to help fund orphanages, provide emergency medical care to the victims of terrorism, and aid the people of Jerusalem in their fight against their enemies.

The Jerusalem Prayer Team with Dr. Michael D. Evans exists to build Friends of Zion to guard defend and protect the Jewish people and to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We pray for peace in Jerusalem because the Scriptures tell us to in Psalm 122:6. The Jerusalem Prayer Team was inspired from the 100-year long prayer meeting for the restoration of Israel held in the ten Boom family home in Haarlem, Holland. We are committed to encouraging others to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and God's Chosen People.
